Our flock of free-range chickens are happy, healthy, and lay beautiful eggs. Shades range in a variety of light brown to speckled brown to dark brown along with blues and greens.

Shells have been cleaned with cool water, then low-temp baked in a dehydrator for an extended period of time. This ensures that moisture is eliminated and bacteria is killed. Then they are finely ground into a granulated powder of white, brown, and blue/green specks to become an enriching calcium and potassium powder. They also contain trace amounts of phosphorus, magnesium, and sodium

This nutrient-rich powder provides powerful supplementation in gardening. I have used this calcium powder in my homemade dog food. This can also be used in art or in homeopathic uses.

To use this in gardening:
Mix 1 oz. eggshell powder + 1 gallon of water and pour onto plants near the soil.
